Don Valley Graphic Equipment was formed in 1993 by Derek Wood. Always specialising in finishing machinery, formerly a mixture of new and used machinery, but now with the emphasis very firmly on new equipment.
This is not to say that we don''t supply used machinery when asked and with our list of contacts you might be surprised what used equipment we have available to us at any given time, having recently supplied such items as Buhrs mailing lines and Harris and Muller saddlestitchers, MBO folders and Lhermite automatic punching machines.
One of our co-operative ventures is with Obscure Maxima of Turin, who have asked us to Market their superlative range of collators, which we are extremely familiar with and their completely new range of Semi and automatic Calendar binding equipment, which we have now got to grips with! Indeed November 2011 saw the installation of the first Maxima WM at SYNERGIE PLC in Birmingham, which is proving to be an immenselly succesful productive unit, which the customer is really pleased with.
We have also installed the 2nd second Rosback Lynx stitching line to another customer in Leicester, a sure fire measure of the effectiveness of the system.
Failing Acme or Bostitch stitching heads? these can now be replaced with the modern ultra reliable M2000 stitching head range or for even greater productivity and reliability we can now supply the Deluxe range of side drive heads such as the G5 and G8 ,(Click on the stitching heads tab) we can really be a help in your bindery.
We have also been very heartened to see that with the industry realising that modern industrial quality creasing machines have a place in the market, that this has been reflected in the increased sales of Rosback creasing equipment. These sales have also been boosted by the new Rosback Truescore Pro digital creasing heads and the odd few older machines have been retrieved from "dusty corners" now that the new improved creasing heads have made them front line equipment once more!
The Rosback Truescore-Pro heads are now being produced in more and more variants. A particularly succesful model is the TS30-A-030 Quad HD system now in use on Multiple Muller Accoro, Corona and Bolero binding lines, we are also producing several bespoke systems directly for machine manufacturers and recently added a new variant for the latest Horizon Stitchliner Mk3.
With over 25 years in the business we have the knowledge to provide you with the right solutions for your finishing needs, but can still guarantee that "personal touch" from initial enquiry to installation and support throughout the life of the machine.
Following our recent arrangement with Deluxe stitcher, we are now distributing their superb range of Pedestal stitchers as well as continuing to supply their replacement stitching heads which fit a wide array of machine types. We have just completed the installation of two of their Model M27 stitchers, equipped with G20 stitching heads capable of clenched stitches up to 20mm deep through pads.
